The Smart Energy Initiative of Southeastern Pennsylvania

is pleased to present a seminar:

Creating a Green Sustainable Municipality

Here at the Smart Energy Initiative we are hearing that Municipal leaders are concerned with rising energy costs relative to the challenges to their communities. More importantly leaders want to know what steps they can take to protect their communities from these rising costs.  In this, our first seminar for the year, we will cover basic strategies related to Rate Cap Expiration, Effect of PA Act 129, Energy Efficiently and Renewable Energy.

In this breakfast seminar our goal is to:

  • Provide Municipal Leaders with the knowledge they need to make immediate decisions that can reduce future cost of energy for their communities.
  • Increase awareness of the terminology and supplier base, for help with where to turn.
  • Share knowledge of impending legislation and how it will impact their future energy costs.
  • Help leaders begin to develop a tailored energy action plan to deal with their individual energy needs.
