Dr. Voas been highly active in the software
engineering research community for over fifteen years. He was the IEEE
Reliability Society president from 2003 to 2005, is currently an
Associate Editor-In-Chief of IEEE’s IT Professional magazine, and serves
on the Advisory Board of IEEE’s Software magazine. He co-founded a small
company called Cigital Inc., that was listed in the Inc. 500 for two
years in a row as one of the fastest growing small companies in the U.S.
Voas received his undergraduate degree in computer engineering from
Tulane University and his M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from the
College of William and Mary. |

Malamed currently oversees production for
the entire mainline releases of Activision, the second largest
thirdparty publisher of video games. Activision created the Call of
Duty®, Spider-Man™, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater™ games series. Before
joining Activision, Malamed worked as a sound editor for Sony Pictures
Entertainment and LucasFilm Ltd. He has worked on a variety of film and
television properties including The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles and
Clear and Present Danger. Malamed earned a joint Bachelor of Science
degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Aeronautical &
Astronautical Engineering and Film & Media Studies. He attended the
Graduate School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern
California. |
