Baganski
Kate Baganski is the Environmental Project Manager for the
Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC) and the Chester
County Industrial Development Authority (CCIDA). As such, she is
responsible for providing technical and scientific oversight to
all projects involving environmental services including but not
limited to environmental site assessments and cleanups, environmental
job training and workforce development, and Brownfields redevelopment.
In addition, Kate provides the technical and financial oversight
to a US EPA Revolving Loan Fund project designated for petroleum
remediation sites.
Kate joined the CCEDC/CCIDA team in December 2003 after more than
nine years in the environmental consulting business working for
Environmental Standards, Inc. in Valley Forge, PA. Her prior experiences
primarily involved providing quality assurance oversight during
the collection, analysis, and data validation of environmental samples
while providing feedback to clients, laboratories, field consultants,
and regulatory agencies on project-specific quality control and
budgetary issues.
Kate earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Scranton
(1992) and a M.S. in Environmental Science from Rutgers University
(1994). Originally from Downingtown, Chester County, Kate now resides
in Phoenixville, Chester County, with her husband and son.
