Suzanne Milshaw
Sue Milshaw is the Agricultural Loan Coordinator for the
Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC). As such, she is
responsible for assisting farmers and agricultural lenders in
accessing and structuring loan options available through the
Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s PA Grows Initiative. In
addition, she conducts outreach and training efforts to educate the
agricultural community on the availability of the loan programs.
Sue joined CCEDC in April 2005. Previously, she served as Program
Manager for a cost-sharing program aiding promotion of exports for
small food companies and agricultural cooperatives in the
Northeastern U.S. In this position, she gained skills in customer
relationship management, database management, tracking and
reporting, and program evaluation. Prior to this position, she
worked in the areas of farmland preservation and direct farm
marketing.
Sue earned a B.A. in International Studies from Trinity College,
Washington D.C. and a M.S. in Agriculture, Food and Environment from
Tufts University School of Nutrition, Medford, Massachusetts.
